General Assembly WS2008/2009 and new elections

On the 20th of October the first general assembly of IM the Club e.V. took place at the University of Applied Sciences Deggendorf.
First of all, Stephanie Emory, Vice President of IM the Club, introduced herself and welcomed the new International Management students. After that the head of each department introduced themselves, presented a review of the last semester and told the first semester students about their responsibilities in their department.
Vera Heier presented the Treasure Department and stated the current account balance. Barbara Maier, Head of the Event Department, presented the organised events. Benedikt Andreas, Head of Public Relation, informed the members about the new website and integration of the club into the network of the other clubs at the UAS Deggendorf. In addition to that, he presented the field trip to Siemens Corp. in Regensburg and invited everybody to join. Then Martin Starkmann, Head of the Human Resources Department, explained how the database of IM the Club is working and presented the Buddy Program 2008.
The next point on the agenda was the new election of the different departments because the members of the current board will leave for their semester abroad at the beginning of 2009 .
Therefore Ugur Cetin was elected concordantly to be the new president, Heike Zenger from the first semester to be the vice president. The second vice president and representative for the fifth and seventh semester became Stephanie Emory again. Martin Starkmann was elected concordantly for the Head of HR. Katrin Auer was elected to be his assistant. Also Benedikt Andreas was re-elected for the Head of Public Relation. Susanne von Ketelhodt was elected to become the Assistant of PR. Elisabeth Drechsel was elected to become the Head of Events, Barbara Maier became the Assistant of the Head of Events. Simon Wolf will be the new treasurer of IM the Club, while Vera Heier was elected concordantly to be the Assistant of The Treasurer.
The new board members will surely be as motivated as the last board members to bring IM the Club e.V. to an even more advanced level.
